Our modern & well equipped Math Lab makes the learning of Maths more interesting. The school has a well – equipped computer lab for the use of students. Every student is provided with a PC to explore the world of technology. The theory & the practical classes attended by the students enable them to expand their horizon of knowledge.
At DPS East, e-learning is accorded top priority. Smart Class Boards have been installed in every class room. The teacher is able to log onto our Resource Centre and access audio visual aids to enhance the class room teaching experience. Such learning through audio visual aids assists in better understanding of concepts. Children are shown stories and educational movies. Students are also trained to make power-point presentations on the topics being assigned to them which not only makes them more confident of facing the classroom but also brings out the creative genius in them.
The digital Display Boards that are located at strategic points in the school provide a vibrant platform. They display information, updates, upcoming events etc., to both parents as well as students.
The school believes in innovation in all spheres. Provision of Lyceum, a platform through the use of internet, enables Parents to interact with the school & vice versa. Each child is provided with an Id and Password to allow them access to notices, alerts, date sheets and results online. Lyceum also provides parents the facility to pay fees online and interact with teachers whenever the need arises. This facility has also enabled us to be environmental friendly by reducing the usage of paper in the campus. All circulars, class-wise monthly newsletters & report cards are posted on line for the benefit of parents & students
The school has a trained counselor and who provides counseling for behavioral and learning problems. We also attempt at providing career guidance for the students. The school also conducts orientation and counseling programs for teachers, parents and children.
The school has a qualified doctor and nurse to handle medical problems and take care of the students. Medical checkups are conducted twice a year. In order to ensure security coverage in & around our campus, Closed Circuit Cameras have been installed at vantage locations. In addition to this we also have trained security personnel taking care of the security at our campus.
